What size should I order?

How do I care for my new garment?

To keep the original finish of your new piece(s), we strongly recommend dry cleaning. Silk charmeuse will lose a bit of its lustre once submerged in water, which is why we recommend dry cleaning to maintain its best sheen.

What is a lead time?

Lead time is the amount of time it takes to cut, sew, steam and prepare your new garment for shipment. It is generally 2-3 weeks.

What does made to order mean?

Unlike traditional companies that produce inventory en masse and then make that inventory available to purchase, we don't begin producing a garment until a customer has placed their order. Once the order is placed, we cut, sew, and ship the garment. Learn more about that here.

Does made to order mean it's made to my exact measurements?

No, that is considered to be bespoke or custom made. Learn more about the difference here. For gown orders, we recommend sizing up if unsure and getting in person alterations as needed. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out at info@jacobajane.com.

What sizes do you offer?

As a small brand, we are currently offering a fixed size range of US size XXS-XL but we are aiming to grow that in the future.

Am I responsible for paying customs fees when my order arrives?

Customs and import duties are levied by the receiving country and are therefore the buyer's responsibility. These fees can sometimes come as a surprise so we suggest exploring your country’s customs fees with a quick online search or call to your local customs office before purchasing.
