We currently operate on a made to order basis, meaning fabric doesn't get cut until there is a new owner excitedly anticipating their new piece. This releases us from worrying about predicting what our community wants and potentially having overstocks that then have to be either discounted or thrown away.

The made to order model reduces waste because we don’t overproduce inventory or cut into materials that aren’t needed. This ensures that there is minimal waste and no leftover stock throughout the year. 

Because we don’t cut into fabric and produce a garment until it’s ordered, we’re able to be much more flexible with our collection and we’re not in the guessing game of predicting demand for colors, styles, and sizes. There is also an exciting aspect about not using precious fabric and human energy until another human has committed their hard earned dollars towards it.

Our colours will change across seasons but many of our designs will remain permanent staple pieces that you can make your own for years to come. Custom made - also known as bespoke - is when the client meets with the designer and their team, usually over a series of multiple in person fittings, to create a one of a kind garment that is made exclusively to your measurements. We explored this method but then made the decision that we would rather be able to offer returns or exchanges to our community instead--something that would be impossible if every item was custom made.
