A reminder of how transformative the right clothing can be.
What stood out to me at the beginning of my brand journey was the transformative power of certain pieces of clothing. For me, it was when I slipped on the first silk dress I ever sewed. The fit was off, of course, but it wasn’t bad for a first iteration.
I felt an incredible shift—from a small-town girl in ill-fitting old sweaters to someone more aligned with her highest self, someone who felt confident and in charge. It was as if the dress unlocked a version of me that I deeply wanted to embody and present to the world. I felt powerful—but also skeptical. Was this all it took to feel notably better about myself? It made me acutely aware of how clothing influences our confidence—and, by extension, our lives.
I couldn’t be the only one who experienced this kind of transformation? Surely not. That curiosity became the foundation of what I set out to build. At its core, I wanted my brand to serve women—not in a superficial sense, but in a way that feels deeply meaningful. I know the profound shift that happens when you put on something that makes you feel beautiful, and I wanted to create pieces that inspire other women to feel that same empowerment, alignment, and self-assurance.
I think this dream took root in my childhood, when life often felt mundane and predictable. I’ve always been someone who craves both stability and novelty in (ideally) perfect balance, and fashion became a world where anything felt possible. I was bored with the world I was in, so I wanted to create one to escape to.
It’s this feeling that drives me. The idea of creating a world where women feel celebrated in every facet of themselves is endlessly compelling to me. I want my brand to offer more than beautiful pieces—I want it to evoke the experience of stepping into another world, one that feels indulgent, timeless, and elegant.
